The Service Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs to HVAC systems. The Service Technician will also ensure that all work carried out meets safety, quality, and customer standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
- Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform warranty services
- Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Provide technical direction and on-the-job training
- Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions
- Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements
- Assist with customers’ queries
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ Years of related experience
- Great customer service skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
- Working knowledge of boiler systems
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- EPA certificate
- 2+ Years of related experience
- High School Diploma or GED
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Able to regularly lift 45 pounds, walk, stand, and climb ladders
- Ability to work in confined spaces
